What “direct import” actually means

Most machinery in this country reaches the farm through three sets of hands: the factory, a national importer, and a dealer. Each one takes a margin, and each one adds a week. We buy container loads straight from the factories we have worked with for years, and we hold them here.

That is the whole model, and it is why our list prices sit where they do. It is also why we can tell you on the phone whether a machine is in the yard rather than promising to find out.

How a purchase runs

You tell us the tractor, the work and the ground. We come back — normally the same day — with one recommendation, the price including delivery, and a date. If a different size or a different manufacturer suits you better, we say so, because a machine that does not fit comes back and that costs us both.

Trade-ins

We take trade-ins on like-for-like replacements. Send photographs and the hours, and you get a value within two working days. The old machine is collected when the new one is delivered, so you are never without.
