A disc mower earns its money on the days the weather gives you six hours. The DM-240 cuts a 2.40 m swath cleanly at road-legal working speed and leaves a swath shaped for a tedder to lift, not a mat that has to be broken open.
The cutter bar is sealed and runs in oil for life — no daily gearbox checks, no weeping joints after two seasons. Blades change without tools, which matters when you hit a stone at six in the evening.
Breakaway protection is spring-loaded and resets from the cab: hit an obstacle, the bar swings back, you reverse a metre and carry on.
